About GradedSites

Most "top directories" lists are affiliate-driven and years out of date. We checked 74 directories ourselves: real DR via Ahrefs, real traffic via SimilarWeb, actual submissions tested. Microlaunch claims 320K monthly visitors. Real number: around 2K. That gap is why GradedSites exists.

How we verify directories

We check each directory ourselves. Domain Rating from Ahrefs — not self-reported. Monthly traffic from SimilarWeb, cross-referenced against what the directory claims. We test the submission process on our own sites.

We're building 12 sites in parallel. That means we're actual users of these directories, not researchers looking from the outside. When a directory stops approving submissions or lets its quality drop, we notice.

Our data sources

Domain Rating from Ahrefs. Monthly traffic verified via SimilarWeb, not self-reported numbers. Submission experience from our own 12-site portfolio — we submit to these directories ourselves. Data verified March 2026. We don't accept payment from directories for placement or rankings.

No affiliate model

We don't earn commissions on signups. Rankings are by DR, not by who pays us. Paid listings are flagged as paid. The goal is to tell you which directories are actually worth your time, which means telling you when a high-traffic claim is inflated.

GradedSites is part of a small portfolio of websites built in Sacramento, CA. We're a tiny operation — no VC, no content farm. If you find data that's wrong or out of date, tell us. Accuracy is the product.
